Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PolarAuth (the "Service"). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Accounts & Authentication

To use PolarAuth you must create an account and keep your credentials secure. We offer password-based sign-in and Single Sign-On via third-party providers including Google and GitHub (collectively, "SSO Providers"). By using SSO you authorize us to receive your basic profile data (such as name, avatar, and email address) from the applicable provider in accordance with their terms and privacy policies.

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security incident. You must be at least 16 years old or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction to use the Service.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

Paid plans, subscriptions, and one‑time purchases are processed by our payment integration partner, Polar. By purchasing a plan you authorize Polar to charge your selected payment method for recurring or one‑time amounts, applicable taxes, and adjustments. PolarAuth does not store full payment card details.

Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time, and your access will continue through the end of the current billing period. Fees are generally non‑refundable except as required by law.

4. Acceptable Use

  • Do not attempt to interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
  • Do not use the Service to violate any law or rights of others, including privacy and intellectual property rights.
  • Do not misuse authentication features (e.g., account enumeration, credential stuffing, or illicit data collection).

5. Intellectual Property & License

PolarAuth, including all software, documentation, templates, and content provided through the Service, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable license to access and use the Service for your internal business purposes.

No Redistribution: You may not copy, distribute, sublicense, resell, or publicly redistribute any part of PolarAuth, its components, templates, or bundled assets except as expressly permitted by us in writing.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms. You may terminate at any time by cancelling your subscription and discontinuing use. Upon termination, your license to use the Service ceases.

7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR REVENUE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU TO US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by posting an updated version and adjusting the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
